How to hide Blogger Nav-Bar

With all the changes to Blogger's template system, it seems no wonder that my original tutorial for hiding the Blogger nav-bar no longer works effectively (particularly for newer template designs).

Hide the Blogger nav-bar in a few simple steps:

1. Go to Design>Edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard
2. Using your browser's search function, locate the closing tag in your template's HTML markup.
3. Immediately before this line, paste the following section of code: navbar {blah;}
4. Preview the changes to ensure everything looks the way it should, then click "Save".

That's all there is to it!

Is it okay to hide the Blogger Nav-Bar?

However, I must point out that in hiding the nav-bar, you will lose access to some functions from within your site, such as the ability to access admin-pages and the random "Next Blog" links.

Don't forget that you could choose to alter the nav-bar colour and transparency through the Design>Page Elements section of your dashboard if you'd prefer not to hide it altogether!

कसाब मुंबई से चुनाव लड सकता है-गिलानी. शिवा सेना का विरोध मुंबई में 26 नवंबर को हुए आतंकवादी हमले के दौरान जीवित पकड़े गए एकमात्र आतंकवादी अजमल कसाब ने सोमवार को निचली अदालत के न्यायाधीश के समक्ष कहा है कि वह मुंबई से चुनाव लडना चाहता है. कसाब के इस बयान पर पाकिस्तान के प्रधानमंत्री गिलानी का कहना है कि, “क्योंकि पाकिस्तान पहले भारत का ही एक अभिन्न अंग था, इसलिये कानुनन कसाब मुंबई से पंद्रहवी लोकसभा के लिये चुनाव लड सकता है”. कसाब की इस माँग पर शिवसेना प्रमुख बाला साहब ठाकरे ने विरोध जताया है और कहा है कि हम अदालत में इसके खिलाफ धरना और प्रदर्शन करेंगे. निचली अदालत के न्यायाधीश ने यह कह कर इस बहस पर विराम लग दिया है कि लोकसभा चुनावों में उम्मीदवार की न्यूनतम उम्र पच्चीस वर्ष होनी चाहिये इसलिये कसाब चुनाव नहीं लड सकता. ध्यान रहे कि कसाब की उम्र अभी केवल इक्कीस वर्ष ही है. कृपया अपनी राय टिप्प्णी करें.
